Pattern equivalent of Suzuki OEM part number 09930-82710. Plugs directly into the white four-pin diagnostic connector found on early Suzuki fuel-injected motorcycles and some fuel-injected quads produced before 2003.

What does dealer mode do?

Activating dealer mode switches the ECU into a diagnostic state that displays fault codes and sensor data directly on the instrument cluster LCD. With this tool installed you can:

  • Read current and stored FI error codes from the ECU
  • Adjust and verify the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
  • Troubleshoot fuel injection and sensor faults without a dealer visit
  • Monitor sensor outputs via the instrument cluster display

Why use this instead of jumping the connector?

Early Suzuki FI models used a small two-wire white plug for dealer mode — often jumped with a paper clip. While this works, the connector pins are delicate and repeated unprotected use risks damage. This tool provides a proper switched connection, can be left under the seat permanently, and eliminates the risk of accidental shorts.

Which generation do I need?

Generation Connector Year range OEM part
Gen 1 — this listing 4 pin — white Pre-2003 09930-82710
Gen 2 6 pin — white 2004–2019 09930-82720
Gen 3 6 pin — red 2020 onwards 09930-83130

To confirm your generation: locate the diagnostic plug under the seat or near the tail section. White 4-pin = Gen 1 (this tool). White 6-pin = Gen 2. Red 6-pin = Gen 3.

Compatible models — Gen 1 white 4-pin
